The Party Wall Etc Act 1996
requires

two surveyors
be
appointed
in
matters
that
affect
property
adjacent
to
each
other.
In
this
respect,
property
may
refer
to
either
buildings
or
land.

guiding
our

through
the
do's
and
don'ts
as
required
by
the
Act,
ensuring
that
the
necessary
notices
are
presented,
or
received
as
the
case
maybe.
It
is
essential
that
any
works,
apart
from
very
minor
construction
work,
is
considered
under
this
Act
and
the
appropriate
notices
given.
